Welcome to the Loon Lake Association and Loon Lake Watershed Improvement Alliance (LLWIA) combined website. Our goal is to provide a place for all of the relevant news for lake and watershed residents and visitors.  Please let us know if you have any suggestions or wish to help us keep this website up to date.

The lake depends on snow and rain (and some springs) to keep the water level up.  You can see the result of not as much of each last year in the graph below.  The red line is about the normal lake level at the beginning of June and the points are the level in feet from an arbitrary starting point of 0 feet.  In 2017 we got a lot of rain in the spring and the lake level rebounded nicely.  Since then, the rain has been less and the lake level has plunged accordingly!
